CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Quality joinery can last for years. We pride ourselves with using the best products available, however, as with all new products, care and maintenance is required to keep it looking good for as long as possible. All of our suppliers offer cleaning and care advice for our clients. If you are unsure of what products you have, or have any questions please contact us.

2-Pac paint – seen panels including doors and drawers

2-Pac painted panels – care should be taken to avoid scratching, chipping and staining.

A wipe over with a clean, soft damp cloth such as a microfibre cloth should be sufficient to keep the surface clean. Soiled surfaces or light stains can be removed with warm soapy water or with any spray on window cleaning product, then wipe dry with a clean lint-free cloth. Noticeable wipe marks may be removed using methylated spirits or glass cleaner.

STUBBORN STAINS
Use mild detergent in warm water to remove stain, or a wax and grease remover, then follow general care instructions. Please note that the substrate material is HMR MDF which is moisture resistant. Care should be taken to ensure that 2-pac painted doors or panels are not left wet.

Hinges, handles and drawer runners

We use high quality hardware – please contact us immediately if you have issues with your door hinges, handles or runners so that we can organise replacement.
